Uncle is a community cat from Chinatown who was found in fairly bad condition – unable to eat for nearly a week, severe drooling and multiple fight wounds. He was taken to the vet and recovered within about 4-5 days. When he was discharged, he needed some meds still so he was temporarily fostered in an office. There he turned out to have an incredible fondness for soft surfaces and massive love for people.

The office staff is hoping to find Uncle a permanent retirement home where he can always have pillows and soft cushions to sleep on. Uncle has both FIV and FELV so he would need to be a solo cat or kept separated from the existing cats. So far his condition has not caused any issues just yet – he eats well (prefers small sized kibble and occasionally wet food), drinks well and poops well. He will, over time, gradually weaken but he stands a very good shot if he is strictly indoors and provided with good nutrition.
