Tiger is a senior community cat (10 years old). He was found out to have a serious injury called diaphragmatic hernia which the vet shared that it could be due to an extreme impact such as knocked by vehicle, bicycle or getting beaten by someone. He was given a 50-60% chance of survival for the surgery. He showed us that he is willing to fight this battle, and he won! He is now in recovery.

Tiger is a very gentle and sweet boy. He loves to be a lap cat, loves having strokes. He has not scratched anyone before and we believe he is that gentle enough.

His feeder wish for him to be adopted for his retirement. Although it is difficult for a senior community cat to find a home, let alone one that is recovering, his feeder still wish that there is a hope for him and hence we are posting this adoption notice. It is best that his adopter is someone with experience in cats. If not, he is also suitable for first time cat owner due to his gentleness.

He is FIV positive. Given his FIV status, he’s best suited to be in a

  1. single-cat household , OR
  2. household with existing FIV positive cat OR
  3. a household with existing non-aggressive FIV negative cat
