Tara was recently picked up from a block notorious for dumping cats. She was pretty freaked out and took a few days to decompress at the foster’s. She’s clearly been bullied by cats before as she lashes out at bigger sized cats. She kind of wants to play with kittens but isn’t clear on how to so it looks like she’s trying to attack them instead of playing. She’d probably do best in a solo cat household.

She’s a gorgeous cat – sleek, shiny and has a shepherds crook of a tail. She’s very very affectionate to people, doing constant body and head bumps and then immediate showing of belly to people. She doesn’t scratch even with belly rubs so it’s clear to me she came from a home (and I hope her ex-owners have itchy pants for the rest of their miserable lives).

She is spayed with a tattooed ear and microchipped. She is also FIV FELV negative.

If you are keen to meet her, please whatsapp me at 91070185 with the completed adoption questionnaire – https://www.catwelfare.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Sample-Adoption_Questionaire.doc

The following guidelines must be strictly followed:

1. The cat must be kept strictly indoors, meaning all your open windows and gate must be secured with mesh.

2. Primary adopter should be financially stable, and every member of the household should be agreeable to the adoption.

3. The cat must be provided good quality food and regular vet care. This will include upkeep of vaccinations, and ensuring that you can financially maintain that level of care for the 20 years of her life.

4. Adoption house visit, fees and contract apply.

General adoption procedure:

1. Preliminary review via whatsapp/email. Send me the completed form.

2. Potential adopters to meet the kitten/cat. If you like the kitten/cat and I see that the kitten/cat is cool with you as well, you can proceed with prepping the house to ensure it’s cat proof.

3. I will then do a house visit to ensure that your place is in fact cat proofed. We can sort out the details of food, litterl, etc to ensure a smooth transition. If you have an existing cat(s), then we will also discuss the introduction process.

4. Once everything’s prepped, I’ll arrange to transfer the cat/kitten. Once the adoption is confirmed in principle, it will be confirmed through the signing of an adoption contract and the payment of adoption fees.
