LOOKING FOR ADOPTER/FOSTERER
Seita (gray tabby, 2-3 years old) and Pumpkin (orange, 5 years old) are a lovely pair of rescue cats that are being cared for by my friend. They both had rough lives: Seita got injured when he fell into glue traps, and Pumpkin was emaciated when my friend found him. We’re hoping to find a kind soul who will adopt them both (since they’re very close) so they won’t have to live on the streets and fend for themselves again.
Seita’s litter trained and has been sterilized, microchipped, deflea-ed, dewormed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV & FeLV (will show certs/records). He’s shy and needs time to warm up to humans but is very affectionate and has never attacked when feeling threatened. Pumpkin’s also litter trained but is unfortunately FIV positive. We will get him vaccinated, dewormed, and deflea-ed before adoption. Pumpkin’s very healthy despite his FIV status and is a lovely and playful cat that can get quite vocal when hungry 🙂 They’re most suitable for owners with no other cats and preferably a quiet environment with no young children.
Adoption requirements (in line with CWS guidelines):
-Fully mesh house (all windows, doors, gates, yards, balconies shall be secured with grilles no wider than 2”)
-Provide Seita & Pumpkin with access to vet care
-Keep Seita & Pumpkin strictly indoors, no roaming
-Be prepared for long-term commitment to Seita & Pumpkin (cats can live up to 20 years)
-Provide Seita & Pumpkin with good quality wet and dry food
-Have the financial means to allocate at least $200-300/month expenses for each cat (excluding emergencies)
-No adoption fees, but adopter to reimburse vet fees (will show receipts)
-Allow house visit(s) before adoption by caregiver (myself) to make sure all adoption requirements are met
-Allow for a 2 week adoption trial
-Sign adoption agreement
