Qwerty is a young male cat who was spotted limping to food when I swung by for a site recce on an offshore island. He was super friendly, so we took him to the vet the next day. He had a bite wound that had punctured both sides of his right forelimb and had developed into an abscess.
The wound was treated and after about 10 days in boarding he was sorted out. He is now looking for a permanent home.
He is a very confident and affectionate cat who gets along really well with other cats as well. He would be suitable for a family with other cats. As you can tell from his original injury, the boy is not a fighter.
Adoption criteria includes:
(a) House must be safe for the cat – meshed up, grilled, etc
(b) Good quality food, fresh water, sufficient indoor stimulation, etc should be provided
(c) Regular vet visits must be in place for vaccinations and regular checks when the cat is older
(d) I conduct a house visit to meet the adopter and family
(e) Adoption fee and adoption contract apply
