Merci had a difficult past, she was hurt by humans back then while living as a community cat. Recently before she was rescued, she was trapped on a rooftop for a month due to some cat-related nuisances. We were surprised that she survived. She cannot go back to her old community anymore, she desperately needs a new, safer environment.

Due to these past experiences, she is scared and can be cautious around humans. When feeling frightened, Merci might hiss or even swipe to protect herself.

Merci is looking for someone who has experience with cats, and who can offer her patience and understanding. A patient foster or adoptive home will help Merci. Please give her a chance to retire in the comfort and safety of a home.

• • Primary caregiver/adopter must be a working adult as keeping a cat is a lifetime commitment with financial responsibilities
  • Cat must be kept INDOORS
  • Meshing and/or installing appropriate grilles is a must for windows/gates. (proper catproofing)
  • Cat must be fed good quality wet & dry food.
  • Cat must be given the necessary vet care as and when needed (eg annual vaccination & check-ups).
  • If adopting, Adoption fee & signing of adoption contract applies.
  • Allowing a pre-adoption home visit and periodic home visits (pre-arranged) by fosterer/ rescuer when the cat is adopted.
