HELP UOB CAT PATCHES – Fosterer needed urgently❗

Hi everyone, most of you will probably know Brompton the UOB cat. During Brompton’s rescue, we actually worked with SPCA to coordinate the rescue of a 2nd cat who was also stuck in the drain – Patches.

Patches currently is in need of a palliative care fosterer. She is at end of life but is still very much active and alert. She is a sweet girl who enjoys pats and rubs.

Patches has spent almost the past 1 month at the vet. Earlier last week, we decided to take the leap of faith and place her under GA to insert an O tube instead because she was not eating despite being on a nasal tube that was causing her irritation.

As she has chronic cat flu, which is air borne, she is unable to return to the shelter and most (if not all) boarding places cannot take her.

I am humbling appealing for a fosterer who is able to take her in and provide much needed love and care. You do not need to be experienced to foster Patches, however, please note the pre requisites

🔹Able to isolate Patches in a room to prevent the spread of cat flu (if you have existing cats in your household)

🔹Able to provide feeding 4x a day via the O tube (spaced between 4-6 hour intervals), this can be changed accordingly after she has adjusted better to the O tube

🔹Clean the O tube site 2x a day to prevent infection

🔹Allow visitations and update promptly so that we can work together to find the best care for Patches

🔹Provide TLC For Patches
