Searching for a fosterer/adopter for an adorable and friendly tabby male called Bailey! He was rescued from the streets and is currently staying at the vet, being treated for a persistent fever and severe dehydration. He is FIV positive and will need to be rehomed.

Characteristics

* Brown/grey with some stripes, quite skinny

* Roughly 4-5 years old, male, DSH

* Expressive and vocal (a cat of many meows!)

* Has been living on the streets for a while, but is friendly towards humans

* Enjoys head scratches and getting his nose stroked

* Will be sterilised and vaccinated once he is feeling better, FIV+ but FELV negative

Requirements

* For him to go to a loving home and be a solely indoor cat. He should be the only cat in the household or in a household with other FIV+ cats.

* Allow me to check your home and make sure it is cat-safe. (I will be using Cat Welfare Society’s adoption procedures for the check)

* Allow me to do follow-ups with you and make sure he is doing okay after being fostered/adopted

* He will take time getting accustomed to living indoors, so a patient fosterer/adopter is required

* I will help bring him to your place

* Preferable: for him to be adopted by an experienced cat owner.
