EnEn Community Cat
- Sterilised
- Likely Singapura (Black strip on her back and black-brown-orange tinge of fur)
- FELV FIV status unconfirmed (will bring her to vet once we are able to bail her out from AVS shelter* read reason for adoption)
- Last Revolutioned: 7 Oct 2023
Personality – Charms of EnEn
- Sweet girl who is smart when I started to feed her back in April 2023. She recognised her food bell from Day 2 onwards.
- Does not like excessive pats or overcitement. Only Subtle pats on her head and backside!
- When she is outside and spots other comm cats, she will be a little kaypoh girl and be easily distracted. Approaches them with ease but do not “provoke” unless she is being challenged. Hence, preferred for a household who is willing to adopt – foster EnEn as first timer or Single Cat Household
- Can be litter trained as she has been observed by her feeder to cover her poops and business with dried leaves or soil.
Requirements
- Cat proofed (meshed) house BEFORE adoption- fostering – no chances should be taken for cat falling off from heights
- CWS guidelines apply (will be using sample adoption procedure for fostering – adoption screening)
- Screening will include home visits BEFORE adoption- fostering
- Financially ready and stable to provide vet care, basic needs(food and water) and also basic hygiene. Guidance on her diet will be provided by her feeder.
Reason for adoption-fostering:
On 8 Oct 2023, she was physically cat-napped by an unsound lady (who claims to have lost her son) while I was feeding her dinner. EnEn has been rescued from perpetrator’s unit and has been with AVS almost 3 weeks. She can only be released when all investigation is completed which we do not know when.
However, planning to rehome her is of OUR utmost priority once we bail her out because that area is no longer safe. Unsound lady is likely to strike again and catnap anytime. FYI, she has previous record in Sep 2022 for catnap of a Clementi community cat too. In addition, it is up to the Courts if EnEn will be released to us because there is another party who wants to claim EnEn back as she was the one who initiated microchipping of EnEn.
With the unknown, feeder aunty here is appealing for help to volunteer to foster – adopt ENEn once we are able to bail her out. Thank you !
