Charcoal was rescued from an offshore island and was suffering from stomatitis, which led to a full mouth extraction, so he no longer has any teeth. He is still recovering from the stomatitis and will need a foster or adoptive home where someone is comfortable giving him medication as part of his recovery.
Although Charcoal is scared of humans, he is a gentle cat. When picked up, he may freeze in fear, but he won’t react aggressively. He simply needs time to feel safe and comfortable around people.
Charcoal needs a patient foster or adopter with experience working with shy or fearful cats. With the right care, he can learn to trust humans again and become more comfortable in his new home.

- Primary caregiver/adopter must be a working adult as keeping a cat is a lifetime commitment with financial responsibilities
- Cat must be kept INDOORS
- Meshing and/or installing appropriate grilles is a must for windows/gates. (proper catproofing)
- Cat must be fed good quality wet & dry food.
- Cat must be given the necessary vet care as and when needed (eg annual vaccination & check-ups).
- If adopting, Adoption fee & signing of adoption contract applies.
- Allowing a pre-adoption home visit and periodic home visits (pre-arranged) by fosterer/ rescuer when the cat is adopted.
