Casper was roaming on the streets and did not have a regular feeder, so he did not have regular meals. When he was hungry, he will tried to enter some residents’ kitchens to find food. That led to complaints and hostility towards him. As a result, he became fearful of humans. He may hiss or swipe if he feels threatened or scared.

Casper needs a foster or adoptive home with someone who has experience with cats and is patient. This person will need to help him regain trust in humans and create a safe, calm environment where he can feel secure. With time and gentle care, Casper has the potential to become more comfortable around people.

• • Primary caregiver/adopter must be a working adult as keeping a cat is a lifetime commitment with financial responsibilities
  • Cat must be kept INDOORS
  • Meshing and/or installing appropriate grilles is a must for windows/gates. (proper catproofing)
  • Cat must be fed good quality wet & dry food.
  • Cat must be given the necessary vet care as and when needed (eg annual vaccination & check-ups).
  • If adopting, Adoption fee & signing of adoption contract applies.
  • Allowing a pre-adoption home visit and periodic home visits (pre-arranged) by fosterer/ rescuer when the cat is adopted.
