Bogay is a medium fur cat rescued from a restricted area. He was found badly matted with very bad rotten teeth. He has had the bad teeth removed and eats both kibble and wet food. Voraciously. His one true love is food. He is FIV FELV negative and his bloodwork is clear.

He was initially a very angsty cat who was very defensive but he now craves affection. He used to sit near me and show me his butt to ask for sayangs but has in the past week started climbing on the bed to lie down and roll beside me. He is not ok with his belly being touched but everything else is pretty ok. He had a major milestone this week where he went for grooming and the groomers told me he only hissed at them.

I would love for him to find an owner who has experience with cats and is willing to give him the time to identify you as his next true love and sayang him. He is ok with other cats, and especially loves kittens. He used to groom some of my other fosters and tried to play with them. He has started approaching guests to my place and is affectionate toward them as well.

The following guidelines must be strictly followed:

• He must be kept strictly indoors, meaning all your windows and gate must be secured with mesh. The most suitable option can be discussed and feel free to ask questions if you’re unclear on what would work for your place.
• Primary adopter should be financially stable, and every member of the household should be agreeable to the adoption. I don’t think he would do well with young children who may not understand the need to approach him slowly and carefully especially at the start
• He must be provided good quality food and regular vet care.
• Adoption house visit, fees and contract apply

Adoption procedure:

1. Preliminary review via whatsapp of adoption contract
2. Potential Adopters visit the fosters to meet Bogay and interact with him. Please bring the whole family.  
3. If potential adopter is interested to adopt Bogay, to cat proof the house (meshing of windows/gates)
4. Foster to do a house visit to ensure that the potential adopter’s house is cat proofed 
5. If everything is in place, potential adopters can make final preparations to welcome Bogay (purchase food, litter, etc)
6. Transfer would be made, adoption contract signed, and adoption fees paid
   
7. Foster and adopters to keep in touch for any questions/issues that might arise.
