ADOPTION NOTICE

Blobby is up for adoption! Found severely malnourished, unsterilised, ears infected and fur matted and covered in glue & debris, Blobby has been recuperating and gaining his strength in a foster home. He is finally ready for adoption, and is on the look out for his forever home!

Blobby
– 3-4 years old estimated, male, domestic short – medium hair -> fur has potential to get quite floofy, so adopters need to be prepared for regular grooming sessions! Fur is currently shaved as his fur was severely matted with glue and debris when found
– FIV/FELV negative, recently sterilised (hence, the cone), dewormed, deflead, Recent blood test done showed no severe abnormalities – results will be shared with adopters!
– While he has put on a lot of weight since being rescued, can still afford to put on more according to the vet
– Litter-trained on tofu litter
– Ear tissue has been damaged, likely due to past untreated severe ear infections. He is likely predisposed to ear infections from now on, and ears will require very frequent cleaning. He will scratch himself while you clean so simply let him wear a cone or wrap his body when cleaning

– Friendly, loves attention, sweet like sugar to everyone!
– Affectionate and mild, suitable for households with elderly or young children
– Can get along with both humans and other cats
– Will jump on couches / beds to cuddle with you

Do note:
– All homes must be suitably and fully catproofed
– Adopters must recognise adoption is a lifetime commitment
– We humbly ask for an adoption fee of $80 to partially cover the medical expenses, and to divert towards helping other cats. Vet receipts/bills and medical documents will be shared.
