Dear Friends in the Cat Community,

I am helping to rehome Kecik. He is a Male, grey tabby cat of About 3-4 years old.

Cat has been sterilized, dewormed and vaccinated (first jab) and microchipped On 14th April 2023.

His previous owner had health complications arising from Diabetes and renal issues and has been in and out of the hospital frequently since last year. He has also been unemployed due to the state of his health. His previous owner stayed alone and this was a difficult decision for him. It was the last resort to rehome as the the owner is no longer capable of caring both in terms of time, the cat’s welfare and financially ):

Please note that the cat is a bit skittish and scared of humans at first. This may probably be due to the fact that he was left alone at home for a long time. He has since been able to warm up to me within a few days. He currently has some scabs on his skin but it can be resolved with 1-2 times shower every week or every other week using medicated shampoo. Not to worry about it as He was tested for fungal culture and it came back negative. I have also applied revolution on him and will continue to do so while he Is under my care.

I have put him up at a boarding place in the mean time but as you know, boarding is not cheap. I have not been able to find a fosterer hence I Hope to be able to find him a forever home soon. If you can help me foster, that would be really helpful too.

He is a low maintenance cat and suitable for adopters looking for a quiet companion. He is very mild and will bake biscuits for you when you rub his head and manja him. He will thrive in a single cat household or dual cat household with another non-territorial cat.

• Primary adopter must be financially stable as keeping a cat is a lifetime commitment with financial responsibilities.
• No adoptions on behalf please. Please get the primary adopter to contact me directly
• Cat must be kept strictly INDOORS
• Installation of meshing and/or appropriate grilles is a must for windows/gates. (Please show me photos)
• Good quality wet & dry food must be fed to the cat
• Cat must be given the necessary vet care as and when needed (eg annual vaccination & check-ups).

Please note that there will be no adoption fee, I will send him for the 2nd jab of vaccine and test for FIV/FELV(for the benefit of doubt) before adoption.

I only hope that he goes to a sincere adopter who will give him all the love and care he deserves.
