Adria is a young adult cat who was rescued from a hoarding situation that made it to the papers last year. She was raised in a cage with only newspaper as bedding+toilet+everything. It took her months to overcome her fear of people and she is now a tubby little baby who rolls around showing everyone her tummy.  She uses pee pads (closest to and far more hygienic than newspapers) for her toiletting and I’ve discovered that this is somehow actually cheaper than litter because of rising litter costs. Who knew. Anyway, she is a very clean cat and she will even try to fold the pee pad over poops.

On account of her rubbish diet and disgusting environment before, she still has bouts of tummy upsets but with reducing frequency. I expect it will take her some time for her tummy to adjust completely. I read that animals take three times as long to recover from a trauma than they experienced it so I guess her tummy is the last to come around. She has been spayed.

If you are keen to meet her, please read the guidelines below and contact me.
