Let’s combat animal abuse together – Door to Door Appeal for Witnesses!

18 volunteers joined us in doing door to door appeal for witnesses for the Woodlands case on 19th Apr 2015. We will be updating authorities on our findings to facilitate them when they engage the alleged suspect.

We have also made the suggestion for the large official crime alert boards to be used in abuse locations to increase public awareness to the seriousness of the crimes. It is currently under consideration.

If you witness animal abuse, act calmly in recording down details, take photos and videos if possible and report it immediately to AVA at their 24 hour hotline at 1800-4761600.

Success for Spay Day 2009

We at CWS are very pleased to report that a total of 210 cats were sterilised out of the 211 sent in (as one cat had fever and couldn't be done), which was an increase of about 34% more than the number of cats sterilised in 2008.

In total, there were 76 females and 135 males sterilised this year on Spay Day itself!

That means, we will be spending more than the $8000 as estimated on the vet bills.

Wanbao had a report on the Class95 DJ incident. It came out on the 19th, Vesak Day. I can’t get a scan of it, so this will have to do. My Mandarin isn’t very strong, but essentially it’s a round-up of opinions about the issue of cat feeding.
