You have taken us from strength to strength 
In May alone, our monthly expense went up to a whopping $25,000! It's brought a certain amount of stress but you know what, we want to keep it that way — because it means that more people are making things happen out there for our community cats! Since 2009, our Society has more than doubled our growth from a humble $84,000 raised to $230,000. Our sterilisation programmes have seen the same extraordinary growth and it could not have been done without the support of the people who care about cats and how our society treats them.
But now the demands are much higher.
This year, we started out with a bang with Project 500 that saw 554 cats sterilised and followed up with the first Spay Day with 320 cats. In between, we launched the Mediator Support Programme to provide support to the dedicated individuals that give of themselves to fulfill the consuming task of convincing Town Councils and residents that humane means are the better and more effective alternative to culling. We also supported a string of projects including Pusara Cemetery, Bukit Panjang, Sungei Kadut, Geylang, Loyang and more, over and above an increased demand for sterilisation reimbursements.
To meet this challenge, we are going for gold with our 2013 Cat Welfare Society Calendar and aim to produce and sell 5000 calendars!
