Nutmeg was rescued from the AVS pound, after being sent there from an offshore island. The management on the island had considered the cats a nuisance . Nutmeg is a shy cat and will need time to adjust to a new environment and warm up to people.

Nutmeg can be adopted along with Nacho, and they would make a great pair for someone who has the patience to help them feel safe and loved. With time and gentle care, Nutmeg will grow more comfortable and show their true affectionate side.

• • Primary caregiver/adopter must be a working adult as keeping a cat is a lifetime commitment with financial responsibilities
  • Cat must be kept INDOORS
  • Meshing and/or installing appropriate grilles is a must for windows/gates. (proper catproofing)
  • Cat must be fed good quality wet & dry food.
  • Cat must be given the necessary vet care as and when needed (eg annual vaccination & check-ups).
  • If adopting, Adoption fee & signing of adoption contract applies.
  • Allowing a pre-adoption home visit and periodic home visits (pre-arranged) by fosterer/ rescuer when the cat is adopted.
