Alsace and Bordeaux were taken from the pound earlier this week for rehoming. They are both approx. 3-4 month old girls who can be adopted out individually.

Alsace is the tuxedo with some sass. She was clearly raised on her own cos she’s pretty garang against other cats. She tries to out-growl them from a a mile away which is hilarious because my cats now think she’s mental. She finishes her growl into a little grumble and moves on. She has declared herself queen of my couch and when I sit on it, she wages war against my hair. I think she doesn’t approve of the home-hairbun sadly. Anyway, because she was raised alone she’s a bit rough with her actions. Like she’ll grab my hand to bring it to her to sniff it and sometimes she’ll forget to retract her claws fully. I believe she’ll get better with some patience and time. She’s only been with me for a couple of days.

Bordeaux is a beautiful tortie who is very much calmer and more mature in her disposition. She isn’t growly unless she feels properly threatened (unlike our tamil soap opera friend Alsace) and is more affectionate toward people. She joins me in watching tv and i found her sleeping beside me. She’ll be a much easier addition to an existing family of cats.

Adoption procedure:

1. Preliminary review via whatsapp/email

2. Potential adopters visit the fosters to meet the kittens. If potential adopter is interested to adopt the kittens, they are to cat proof their house (meshing of windows/gates)

3. Foster to do a house visit to ensure that the potential adopter’s house is cat proofed If everything is in place, potential adopters can make final preparations to welcome kittens (purchase food, litter, etc)

4. Transfer of kittens would be made, adoption contract signed, and adoption fees paid. Foster and adopters to keep in touch for any questions/issues that might arise.
