We found Nugget, the kitten, in a drain in mid-October 2021, and thanks to the volunteers at the Cat Welfare Society who managed to lure her out, we have been looking after her ever since. Unfortunately, due to my allergies, we’re unable to keep her long term. She is a delight to have around, melts our hearts when she falls asleep in our arms and makes us laugh whenever she bounds into a room wanting to play. An affectionate cat that always retracts her claws when playing, she has short bursts of energy in the mornings, and is asleep most afternoons. She’s still a very curious kitten who likes to climb (anything), but so far hasn’t damaged furniture. Toilet trained with a moderate appetite – we’re really hoping to find her a good forever home.
