Kang Kang, a senior community cat collapsed due to DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) on 25 Oct 21. She was rushed to the vet hospital for emergency treatment and survived.

She is now in a stable condition but cannot be released back to the community. She needs two insulin shots a day and fed a special low carbs diet. Otherwise she is low maintenance as she is not going to be running around the house like a crazy kitten and scratching up your sofa. She just needs a resting place to spend the remainder of her life quietly and safely.
