Charlie is a very active peanut who bounces around all day but rocks up to you for affection once you’re back.
He was born on a construction site and rescued as a wee kitten. He contracted the calicivirus and lost an eyeball as you can see in his picture. The surgery is complete and he is totally active and mobile. He is also sterilised.
He is FELV+ and FIV-. His mother was negative for both FIV and FELV so I have no idea what happened. He’s a bundle of energy but is very calm in new situations. He’ll walk around then sleep funny with his armpits exposed.
He is looking for a permanent home. He’s fine on his own or with other cats.
Adoption criteria:
- House must be safe for the cat – meshing or other measures must be taken
- Cat must have regular checkups – at least annually to monitor his condition and see if there are any early signs of FELV kicking in
- Adoption contract and house visit apply
