• Care for and manage the stray cats that live in your estate
  • bring any sick or injured cats to the vet for treatment
  • protect them from abuse by speaking up or if necessary, reporting the abuse
  • feed them responsibly (proper cat food, regular time and place) without littering.
  • bring both males and females for sterilisation to keep their population in control.
• Help other groups manage their strays
  • help them to catch/trap cats
  • provide transport to bring the cats to and from the vets
  • nurse the cats after the operation
• Help our education programme by
  • helping with translation into chinese or malay and type setting
  • helping to plan our outreach to schools, community clubs, tertiary institutions
  • helping out at our educational booths
  • giving talks, teaching children, planning a curriculum for school kids
• Help our adoption programme by
  • adopting a cat or fostering a cat for a period of time
  • managing our adoption bulletin
  • collecting data of cats for adoption and matching them with potential owners
  • meeting with potential owners and adopters to ensure the cat will fit into the new home
  • publicising the cats for adoption (putting up our notices at shops, supermarts, offices)
• Be a mediator
  • talk to complainants and help resolve conflicts with mutually acceptable solutions
  • meet with management committees, liaise with residents, present our work
• Help at special events (talks, exhibitions)
  • give out information sheets and our brochures
  • look after our booth, talk to people about our work, sell our merchandise
  • help us with organising certain events including organising volunteers, preparing materials
• Administration
  • help with the keeping of records, preparation of records
  • organising and contacting volunteers
• Help our Fund Raising programme by
  • Joining the fund raising team which meets once every two weeks to plan for events. We need people with an interest or expertise in:
    • Advertising and publicity
    • Merchandising
    • Graphic designing
    • Organising exhibitions
    • Event management
    • Accounting & finance
    • Consulting
