We are building a network of volunteers and supporters and are always in need of people willing to put aside some time to help us. Volunteers are critical to the continued existence of the Society. The Society does not receive any funding from government or other organizations. We depend totally on membership subscriptions, donations and fund-raising activities for our projects. The Society firmly believes that sterlisation is the more effective and humane solution to the stray cat problem than other means such as culling. (To read more about our stand on sterilisation, please refer to the 'About us' section on this website.) Sterilisation can, however, be a costly procedure. The Society organizes various activities to help educate youths and younger kids on issues of animal welfare and the need to be kind to animals.
