I wish to sign a simple contract for the adoption of my cat. Do you have a sample and does a contract protect the cat?

Adoption

We have provided 2 sample agreements/contracts which you can download and amend for your own use.

(To remove the "SAMPLE" from the document, edit the "Header and Footer" of the page. Click on 'View' on the menu bar and select "Header and Footer". Then select the "SAMPLE" and delete it.)

The contracts/agreements would make the adopter aware of the responsibilities required of him or her as a cat owner, and you can have something to fall back on should there be a dispute and you wish to take legal actions.

Brothers & Sisters, i have been looking around for a male kitten for the past 1 year.
I used to have a male cat for 10 years, but he has moved with my sister.
Recently i called up a Ms Goh from Cat Welfare, the moment she picked up the phone, she was extremely rude to me, she said that she was frustrated as everyone promised to adopt a cat but didnt mesh up d windows, she is making adoption very difficult for any of us. I have a daughter and just as much as i value her and my previous cat, i have always loved just any cats and value their life and take their health and safety seriously. After screaming at me for no apparent reason, Ms Goh said that she will get back to me, but she didnt. i hope there will be no fuss, contract or anybody visiting the cat as Ms Goh insisted as i believed that everyone need their privacy too. i hope future adopters will take adoption very seriously as i do as it is a matter of life that we are talking about here and you cant be fickle-minded. As for people like Ms Goh, i understand your concern for the kittens but please do not assume that everybody is the same and please be more courteous to future adopters to encourage and guide them in the adoption process. Thank you.
