URGENT: Seeking Donations for Community Cat with Slashed Hind Leg
A friendly community cat named KP from Hougang was found hiding in a corner and crying in pain. When she was located by a caregiver, KP was noticed to be bleeding profusely from a large wound on her hind leg (thigh). KP may have been abused as the wound looked like one inflicted by an abuser who tried to use a knife to slash her back, but had struck her thigh instead.
A caregiver contacted SPCA immediately for help, and KP was treated and her wound stitched up. She was sent to the Recuperation Centre for recovery and her wound had recovered well. Subsequently, she was sent back to SPCA twice to have her stitches removed.
KP's wound has since recovered and she has since been released back into her territory.
The total transportation and boarding costs incurred by KP came up to SGD 260.00.
We are urgently appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for KP, with the appeal amount at SGD 260.00.
