URGENT: Seeking Donations for Community Cat with FeLV & Large Rear Wound

Xiao Bai is a very tame white male community cat at Blk 204 Marsiling Drive. One day, he was found by his caregiver with a massive raw wound at the right of his rear. The cause of the wound is unknown, though it is suspected to be due to abuse.

The caregiver tried to clean the wound and applied antiseptic powder on it. However, the wound did not heal at all but instead worsened. The wound was approximately 7 cm in diameter.

Xiao Bai was rushed to the vet for treatment. Upon diagnosis, Xiao Bai was found to have FeLV, which impeded the healing of the wound. Xiao Bai had to be hospitalised for 2 weeks for his recovery, and he was given antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medication daily.
Thankfully, Xiao Bai's wound healed well during hospitalisation and he did not need to have the wound further stitched up. He was then discharged and fostered by his caregiver for the next one week, during which he was given Vitamin C pills and antiseptic medication daily.
Xiao Bai has since fully recovered and happily returned to his community home on 26 May 2012.
The medical bill for Xiao Bai came up to SGD 376.22 and we are appealing for donations up to SGD 350.00 to help defray the cost.

We are urgently appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for Xiao Bai, with the appeal amount at SGD 350.00.
