URGENT: Seeking Donation for Community Kitten with Inflamed Right Eye & Complications to Wounds
Whitey is a timid and elusive 7 month old community kitten who was found with an inflamed and swollen right eye by her caregiver.
After Whitey was trapped, she was immediately sent to the vet for treatment on 27 February. Unfortunately, the vet's diagnosis was that Whitey's right eye has already lost more than 50% of her vision.
Whitey had to be hospitalised, during which the vet discovered that she had a wound at one of her hind leg along with complications to her wound due to sterilisation, suspected to be due to either FIV or a low immune system.
Whitey had to undergo another operation and blood tests, and was hospitalised until 25 March. Her inflamed eye has since subsided and the wounds healed.
Her total medical bills came up to SGD 541.65 and we are calling for donations amounting to SGD 500 to help defray the cost.
We are urgently appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for Whitey, with the appeal amount at SGD 500.00
