URGENT: Seeking Donations for Community Cat Found with Urinary Tract Infection & Wound

This Siamese cross-breed female kitty was found at Blk 146 Yishun Street 11 in mid July 2011. She had refused food and drink. It was discovered that she was suffering from a very sore butt and was rushed to Pet Clinic. The vet there diagnosed her with urinary tract Infection and she was temporarily fostered at the caregiver's place for treatment and recovery.

However, a few nights later, blood and pus oozed out from the cat and a previously undetected wound the size of a 5-cent coin was spotted the following morning when the cat was grooming herself.
The cat was then brought to Ang Mo Kio Veterinary Surgery. She was warded overnight for the vet to clen off the dead flesh around the wound, followed by stitching. The stitching was bitten off by the cat later, and she had to be sent back for restitching and hospitalisation for another night.

Currently, this cat is being cared for at the caregiver's home.
The total medical bill incurred was SGD 371.50.

We are urgently appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for the medical treatment of this Siamese cross-breed community cat, amounting to SGD 371.50.
