"Thank a Cat Caregiver" Week

Cat caregivers have been doing a national service for years sterilising and managing our community cat population, with little recognition. This week as our nation celebrates National Day, let's show a little kindness to our cat caregivers! Artwork by Paul Koh of Catmasutra
How we can show our appreciation to the
cat caregivers in our neighbourhood
1) Say hi! Let them know how much you appreciate what they are doing.

Education and legislation to go hand-in-hand. Be the voice for change.

Make yourselves heard. Politely.

The recent Multi-Stakeholder Focus Group discussion brought together diverse views from invited members of the public, including stray feeders and complainants, who wrote into the MND Online Feedback Portal on pet ownership and stray management issues and representatives from animal welfare groups, town councils, housing board and animal welfare and control centre. We can possibly see more such discussions in the future.

What kind of cat lover are you?

Government officers, the press and even friends often like to refer to us as "all you cat lovers".

We love this special animal for its grace and beauty. We appreciate it in varying degrees for its many traits - independence of mind, curiosity and vulnerability.
