URGENT: [SA17019] Seeking Donations for Community Cat with Hernia
BB was found paralysed at the side of a busy road in western Singapore, and was rushed to the vet.
BB had abrasions on his body. He was diagnosed with hernia. As he could not urinate, a urinary catheter was used to help him. BB was also sterilised at the vet and hospitalised for 7 days. After discharge, he was sent to a cattery for another week before he was operated to fix his hernia.
BB has since recovered and is now being fostered.
The total medical cost incurred was SGD1,048.50.
The caregiver is appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for BB, with the maximum appeal amount at SGD750.00.
