URGENT: [SA17013] Seeking Donations for Community Cat with Pancreatitis
Cherish is a community cat from western Singapore. She was very thin and looked very sick, and the caregiver decided to bring her to the vet.
Cherish underwent a complete blood test and was eventually diagnosed with Pancreatitis. Her white blood cell count was also high. Cherish was given antibiotics and was brought back for another blood test. The test revealed that her white blood cell count improved.
As Cherish is 10-13 years old and has lost most of her teeth, the vet said that it will not be possible to rehome her. Therefore, the caregiver decided to foster her long term as Cherish cannot be released into the neighbourhood.
The total medical cost incurred was SGD875.55.
The caregiver is appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for Cherish, with the maximum appeal amount at SGD750.00.
