URGENT: [SA17003] Seeking Donations for Community Cat with Gingivitis
Ah Boy Ginger is a community cat from western Singapore. He was drooling and not eating, and the caregiver decided to bring him to the vet.
It was found that Ah Boy Ginger had very bad gingivitis and almost all his teeth were rotten, too. The vet had to treat his gingivitis first before he could do the dental treatment. Ah Boy Ginger’s teeth were then cleaned, and some of the rotten teeth were extracted.
A fosterer took care of him after discharge, but as he was still not eating he was sent to the vet again.
Ah Boy Ginger has since recovered and is currently being fostered.
The total medical cost incurred was SGD443.33.
The caregiver is appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for Ah Boy Ginger, with the appeal amount at SGD443.33.
