URGENT: [SA16163] Seeking Donations for Community Cat with Severe Urinary Tract Infection
Ginger Cat is a community cat from central Singapore. He was having a reduced appetite and caregivers observed that there was blood in his urine .
Caregivers decided to take him to the vet for medical attention. A thorough medical examination and an X-ray scan was done. The vet diagnosed that there was a fatal infection ongoing in his urinary tract. The infection had affected his bladder greatly and it was on the verge of rupturing. A catheter had to be used to drain his bladder daily. Adequate medication was also prescribed. Ginger Cat was hospitalised for observation.
Ginger Cat is currently fostered for proper management of his condition.
The total medical cost incurred was SGD 1215.04.
The caregiver is appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for Ginger Cat, with the maximum appeal amount at SGD 750.00.
